Warranty, Refunds & Cancellations
Faulty or Damaged Product.
Mega Jimny PTY LTD offers a 12-month warranty on all MG-X, STYL & PROTEC items from the date of purchase. The warranty is covered for the product being faulty and/or not performing as described.
Other name brand products that we sell each have their own manufacture warranty conditions, terms of use and warranty periods.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside of describe in the instructions, including:
- Damage resulting from accident or improper use.
- Damage caused by faulty installation or modification made during installation.
- Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather, natural disaster or act of God or other external causes
If the warranty claim is rejected, the product is to be returned to buyer at their expense. Payment must be made to us within 14 days from the day of our warranty rejection notify. We are entitled to hold the product until any owning fees has been made. Storage fees will be applied beyond 14 days at 5% of the original product cost until credit expires.
If your product is damaged in the box or does not function as it should, you are entitled to return the product for a replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law act. For the replacement or refund to be processed, the product must be returned and inspected by our team. The outcome of the inspection takes 3-10 business days from the date the item is received.
- We can provide details allowing the return at no cost to customer for a replacement.
- When the buyer has contributed to the failure or misleading the issues in the description, we reserve the right to charge a handling fees.
- We are entitled to hold the product until any owning fees has been made. Storage fees will be applied beyond 14 days at 5% of the original product cost until credit expires.
Any items that have clearly been mistreated, modified or not used as intended will be rejected and the items returned back to you at your cost.
Returning or Cancelling an order.
For any reason that you are looking to return or cancel an order, you are required to read & follow the steps listed below to ensure you are eligible:
- 30 days must not have passed since the date of purchase.
- The item(s) must be in brand new, unmodified condition with all packaging still intact and unopened.
- NO claims will be accepted for any items that have been fitted, removed or tampered with.
- Email us at sales@megajimny.com with your order number, the product(s) you wish to return and the reason for the return.
- Our service team will review your email and if applicable, we will issue you a return authorisation with all other relevant information.
Any returns or order cancelation's incur a 10% fee which is deducted from your total refund amount.
This is due to fee's that the payment processing platforms (Visa, PayPal, Afterpay etc) charge us on every transaction do not get refunded to us in the event that we need to refund an order.
Unfortunately Mega Jimny PTY LTD is unable to absorb these costs and the cancellation fee will be taken from the total refund amount that will be issued back to you.
If you are cancelling your order before it has been dispatched, a 10% Cancellation fee still applies as the payment has already been made.
