Introducing the brand new MG-X Adjustable Spare Wheel Riser Mount!

A big issue with fitting larger tyres to your Jimny is that the spare tyre often sits lower and lower, obscuring the number plate below - which in many places in the world is illegal which we've seen will often result in fines from the Police/failed yearly registration inspections.
Not to mention, it doesn't look the best with a larger wheel sitting that low on the tailgate!
Our new 2 piece bracket system fixes that problem by giving you the three options for raising your spare wheel:
- 0mm - OEM Height (Exactly the same position as the Jimny's stock carrier).
- +50mm higher.
- +100mm higher.
To adjust the height, simply undo the supplied M12 bolts and nylon locking nuts and reposition the outer bracket to your desired height. We've also put numbers into the brackets so you can easily see which position you're at.
Our mounts have absolutely zero flex or movement in them. They are far stronger than the OEM pressed 2mm thick metal mounts are. We've also designed them to be pitched at the perfect angle, as the Jimny's factory tailgate is not directly straight down.
The wheel angle/offset position is exactly the same as factory, only the height changes with our brackets. Our Jimny (pictured) is using a 15x7 +3 offset wheel with a 31" Falken Wildpeak tyre.
Please note:
- A bit of rear view mirror vision is lost when the spare wheel is positioned in the higher settings, however you also gain more vision in the reverse camera, as the spare wheel is now completely out of sight from it.
- Wider wheels or wheels with an even lower offset have not been tested with this mount - we've only tested the wheel/tyre specs listed above.
