The standard Jimny tailgate strut gives you only around 75-80 degrees of opening angle, which can be slightly annoying when trying to put larger objects/drawer systems in the back of your Jimny, not to mention they are unbelievably slow, slam shut with the lightest amount of wind and are known to snap due to having plastic ends.
Our new MG-X 90 Degree Tailgate Strut fixes those problems - simply unclip the factory strut and clip this one on, a 30 second job. Our 90 Degree struts also feature metal ends to ensure long term durability.
Please note: These are stronger than the factory struts are, so ensure you don't let your door swing open.
